TRA 2018 - Submissions under Review-Process

Till April 24, interested experts in the field of mobility and transport had the possibility to submit a technical or scientific abstract to be presented at the TRA 2018. More than 1.200 Abstracts in 12 topics arrived. >>>more


TRA Visions

TRA VISIONS 2018 invites Young and Senior researchers from all over Europe to submit innovative transport concepts on future transport matters until the end of October 2017. The deadline for a first short abstract for students is 30th June 2017. Goal is to enhance efficient and sustainable transport and mobility of people and goods. The final winner of the competition will be awarded during a prestigious award ceremony at the Transport Research Arena 2018. >>>more

Europe's first conference on connected and automated driving took place in Brussels from the 3rd until the 4th of April. Theme of the event was "Connected and Automated Driving - Together, shaping the future", organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the support of the projects CARTRE and SCOUT. >>>more

Innovation Talks: "Look back, think ahead, move forward"

On the 4th and 5th of May, innovation talks of the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit) and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) were taking place at Hotel & Palais Strudlhof in Vienna. Focus was the research of last years about future mobility. Well known speakers provided new insights and perspectives on how to tackle uncertainties.  >>>more
