A new project about automated driving is starting, there is a new C-ITS cooperation and the TM2.0 platform got a new chair.

Urban Mobility labs: Matchmaking Event in Salzburg

At the Matchmaking Event in Salzburg you will have the opportunity to get to know Urban Mobility labs and their representatives. Exchange ideas and get involved! It will take place on the 5th of July from 10am until 2.30pm at the Paris Lodron University. The participation will be free. The event will be held in German. >>> more

Austrian Startup Stammtisch: Innovation in the public space & mobility

In June, the 47th Austrian Startup-Stammtisch took place in Vienna at the co-working space Sektor 5. At the event, the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology presented Urban Mobility Labs to enable new and exciting opportunities by connecting various stakeholders - such as start-ups and public institutions. >>> more

C-ITS Cooperation between C2C-Communication Consortium and C-Roads Platform

The CAR2CAR Communication Consortium and the C-Roads Platform have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding for enabling a close cooperation between the automotive industry, road authorities and road operators. It's aim is to prepare the deployment of initial cooperative ITS services across Europe by 2019. >>> more

INFRAMIX paves the road for automated vehicles 

The INFRAMIX project has just started: Eleven European companies and institutions, leaders in innovation for the automotive and the road sector, gathered in Vienna to share and discuss activities and expectations concerning the preparation of road infrastructure for the coexistence of conventional and automated vehicles. >>> more

New Chairs for platform Trafficmanagement 2.0

During the 12th ITS European Congress in Strasbourg, Martin Russ and Klass Rozema were elected as the new chairs of the TM 2.0 ERTICO platform. It includes more than 25 members from a wide variety of ITS sectors, which are focussing on innovative solutions for an advanced and active traffic management. >>> more
