Registration for Transport Research Arena 2018 now open


To be held from 16-19th April 2018, the 7th edition of the Transport Research Arena, Europe's largest transport research and technology conference, will be held in Vienna, Austria. Hosted by the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology together with the Austrian Institute of Technology and AustriaTech, this key event has just opened for registration.

The conference is co-organised by the European Commission and supported by the European Technology Platforms and addresses representatives from politics, administrations, research and industry alike in order to shape the future of transport and mobility and facilitate a common exchange. Over four days of the conference, 3,000 participants will be able to choose between more than 600 presentations and posters on topics related to the event theme ”A digital era for transport”. This will include insights into crucial topics, such as automated driving, decarbonisation, logistics, transport infrastructure or enabling technologies as 5G, IoT or block chains. Legal and organisational framework conditions will also be the focus of discussions. All modes of transport will be covered. In addition, the 7,000-square metre international exhibition will provide additional interactive presentations and demonstrations and feature other highlights of the programme aimed at bringing transport research to life.

Tickets are available from 480 EUR for all four days of the conference. In addition, one-day tickets, exhibitor tickets and student tariffs are offered. Following the final confirmation of their submission, authors, speakers and reviewers will receive specific information and be able to register at a reduced price. Press representatives have free access, specific press tours and activities are under preparation. The Early Bird prices are available until 29th January 2018.
